BJA accepting applications for drug disposal program

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) within the Department of Justice (DOJ) is accepting applications for the Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program's (COSSAP) Comprehensive Secure and Responsible Drug Disposal Program. As described in the announcement, the program will support State, local, and tribal governments in purchasing drug take-back and disposal equipment, enabling law enforcement agencies, first responders, and/or citizens to destroy or return unused medications. Applications for the grant are due on November 25 and an informational webinar will be held on November 10at 2:00pm ET. Webinar presenters will provide an overview of the funding opportunity and application instructions.
