Faced with State Budget Shortfall, Proposed LDH Cuts Could Have Devastating Impact

Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) officials have drawn up a proposal for cutting the agency’s spending of state funds by $105 million in anticipation of a projected $340 million state budget shortfall next fiscal year.
