The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is highlighting Louisiana’s Shot for 100 website for providers who support our vulnerable Louisiana citizens. This website provides a list of vaccination sites by region and serves as a great resource for staff, recipients and family members looking to be vaccinated. In addition, the Shot For $100 program can serve as a great incentive tool to encourage vaccination amongst direct support staff and assist in preparing for pending federal mandates.
LDH encourages ensuring staff, recipients, and family members are aware of the events in your local area by using the website to identify locations. Louisiana residents now have until Dec. 31, 2021 to get their $100 gift card for receiving their first dose vaccine at a participating community-based site as listed on ShotFor100.com.
