The Office of Behavioral Health is sponsoring a free virtual ASAM Skill Building training on Friday November 4, 2022 for SUD clinicians. This practical and case-based skill building training (NAADAC-approved for 8 hours of continuing education) will focus on using the ASAM Criteria to develop individualized treatment plans, evaluate progress versus nonprogress in treatment, use of the continuing care criteria, and determining when to initiate transfer to another level of care or discharge of a patient from treatment. The training will also provide tools and resources for providers to work more effectively with managed care organizations and explore how case shaping can drive patients' overall quality of care.
