Ann Tucker

The Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN), within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) Initiative, is now accepting proposals for the Rapid Innovation Grant (J-RIG). As described in the announcement, the J-RIG program is a rapid funding mechanism to support small research grants to study newly emerging policies, practices, or interventions that address prevention and treatment of addiction in justice settings. The call for proposals will be released up to three times per year and funding will be provided for up to 24-months. Direct costs may not exceed $100,000 for grantees. A webinar about the J-RIG grant program and application process will be held on June 10th from 3:00-4:00pm EDT and registration can be found here
