The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released several new resources to help people quit smoking. As described in the announcement, a new infographic provides information on proven treatment interventions, such as counseling and medication, to help people quit smoking. The CDC also released a short video that provides an overview of the health benefits associated with quitting smoking. Finally, a new website section, Learn About Quit-Smoking Medications, includes six topics related to smoking cessation medications.
