Opioid Treatment Access Act Becomes Bipartisan Initiative

The Opioid Treatment Access Act just became bipartisan, with the recent addition of Rep. Bacon as a co-sponsor. Filed in the House just last month, this legislation would expand access to methadone for opioid use disorder (OUD), including through measured prescribing and pharmacy dispensing. Rep. Kuster, co-chair of the Bipartisan Addiction and Mental Health Task Force, has also joined as a co-sponsor.
